Goals Overview
The Goals page is where you can write down the bigger things you're trying to work toward, not just the next todo. It's a place to keep those longer‑term ideas in front of you so they don't get lost in the day‑to‑day.
How I Use Goals
I don't use this page a ton compared to Todos or the Dashboard, but I still like having a few goals written down. Even if I'm not checking them off every day, it's nice to see them when I pass through Holltask—it’s a quick reminder of what I'm aiming for beyond just today's tasks.
What You Can Do Here
Capture Your Bigger Targets
- Write out goals for different areas of life (health, work, personal, etc.)
- Add some detail so you remember what “done” looks like
- Set rough timelines or target dates if that helps you
Keep Goals Visible
- Treat this page like a lightweight goals board
- Skim it occasionally to make sure your todos still line up with what you actually care about
- Archive or mark goals as completed when you hit them
Why It's Still Useful
Even if you don't live on this page every day, having your goals written down in the same place as your todos, health data, and dashboard gives a nice sense of direction. It's less about perfectly tracking every metric and more about giving yourself a quick reminder of where you're trying to go.
